What we do
F1 Collision Center repairs collision damage to certified factory standards. That covers the structural work you cannot see and the cosmetic work you cannot stop seeing.
Most cars arrive here after an accident, with an insurance claim attached and an owner who did not plan their week around a body shop. Our job is to take that off your desk: the estimate, the supplements, the paperwork, the rental car.
The work itself runs from bumper repair and paintless dent repair through structural frame repair and refinishing.
The shop
We are at 14332 Oxnard Street, Van Nuys, CA 91401, in the middle of the San Fernando Valley. Van Nuys is our neighborhood, and most of our work comes from it and the towns around it.
You are welcome to come look at the bays before you decide. Shops that do good work do not mind being watched.

Every technician here holds I-CAR and ASE credentials and re-qualifies annually — collision repair changes every model year, and the certification cycle is how you keep up with it.

How we work with your insurance
We work with claims from every carrier. We are not owned by one, and we do not take direction from one about what your car needs.
Under California Insurance Code §758.5, the choice of repair shop is yours — not your insurer's. They can recommend; you decide. Here is how the claim process works once you have chosen.
What we will not tell you
We will not promise a timeline before we have seen the damage, and we will not quote a price we cannot hold.
Teardown reveals things an estimate cannot predict. When it does, we document it with photos and take it to your insurer as a supplement — and we tell you before we do it, not after.
