Privacy policy

The short version

We collect two things: what you send us in the estimate form, and anonymous statistics about which pages people visit. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with insurance companies.

The estimate form

When you send an estimate request, you give us your name, your phone number, and optionally a description and photos of the damage.

That information goes to our estimator so we can call or text you back about your repair. It is used for that, and for nothing else.

The form is delivered by Netlify, the company that hosts this site. Your submission passes through their systems on its way to us and is stored there so we can retrieve it. They process it on our behalf and for no purpose of their own.

We never sell it, rent it, or hand it to an insurance company. If your claim involves an insurer, we share only what the repair authorization requires, and only after you have chosen us as your shop.

Photos you upload travel to us over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Photos can carry hidden location data from your phone; we strip that on receipt.

Analytics

If you accept cookies, we use two tools to understand which pages help people find and choose us:

• Google Analytics 4 — counts page visits and how people arrived. We turn on IP anonymization and Google's Consent Mode, so no analytics or advertising cookies are set unless you accept.
• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymized session activity (scrolling, clicks) so we can find confusing pages. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type in the form is not captured in recordings.

If you decline, neither tool loads at all — not in a limited mode, not at all. No third-party script runs, and no analytics cookie is set. The site works identically either way.

You can change your mind any time using the Privacy choices link in the footer.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• We do not run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels on this site.
• We do not load fonts, scripts, or images from third-party servers — everything on this site is served from our own domain.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you live in California, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from.
• Delete the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right stands.
• Limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect any.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. Your repair, your price, and your service do not change.

To make a request, call us at 310-993-3255, email service@f1bodyshop.com, or write to us at 14332 Oxnard Street, Van Nuys, CA 91401. We will verify your identity by asking about information already in your record — usually the phone number you gave us — and respond within 45 days.

You may also authorize someone else to make a request for you. We will ask for proof that you authorized them.

How long we keep things

Estimate requests and repair records are kept as long as we need them for the repair, the claim, and the record-keeping the state of California requires of licensed body shops. Analytics data expires on the providers' standard schedules.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
